The sensation piece is going fairly well. The character aspects of the story were shot on September 21st The footage was slightly grainy do to armature mistakes with the lighting and camera exposure. I may reshoot: though I would rather see what a the rough cut looks like. I still have to finish filming the sensation enhancement clips: that will not take long. This Sunday I plan on capturing the video to my hard drive, Sunday and Monday will be spend editing the rough cut.
Rough cut about half way finished on October 2nd. The realistic narrative section that was complete is relatively solid. I may need to reshoot the footage of the character Vincent entering the office. The clips that exist feature the actor moving in a way that is too exaggerated. I was able to tone down his movements in the later clips, but his entrance is a problem. I started to edit the surreal scene. It can sit as a sequence of clips cross fading into each other for now. I’ll use After Effects to break the connection to reality later. I may need to capture more clips of Vincent for the surreal section.
